Bolton Valley Community Water and Sewer, LLC (BVCWS) filed revised tariffs with the Vermont Public Utility Commission reflecting a request for an overall 94% immediate and temporary rate increase, and a 94% permanent rate increase in water rates. The Commission has opened an investigation to determine if the utility’s rate request is just and reasonable. The Commission set a temporary rate increase of 46% effective June 1, 2018. The decision on the permanent increase remains pending in front of the Commission.
