Vermont State Nuclear Advisory Panel (VSNAP)
VSNAP is governed by VSA Title 18, Chapter 34. The Commissioner of the Department of Public Service chairs the panel, which meets periodically to consider issues relating to the present and future use of nuclear power in general, and of the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station in particular. The Panel advises the Governor, General Assembly and agencies of the state with a written annual report. Copies of the latest and past annual reports may be obtained by contacting the Panel Secretary, Judy Moody, at 802-828-4071. The Vermont State Nuclear Advisory Panel (VSNAP) will meet in the Vernon Elementary School, 381 Governor Hunt Road, Vernon, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Tuesday, November 13, 2007.
