VT COMMUNITY BROADBAND BOARD SEEKS CONSULTANT TO STUDY AND IMPLEMENT CREATIVE AND ALTERNATIVE FUNDING AND FINANCING TO FURTHER COMMUNITY BROADBAND EFFORTS
The Vermont Community Broadband Board (VCBB) is seeking a community development/impact-driven financial specialist to identify alternative and preferred funding solutions for the Communications Union Districts. The VCBB estimates that via the funding provided by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and the Bipartisan Infrastructure and Jobs Act, the VCBB will be able to provide most CUDs with 50-60% of the required infrastructure funding through grants. The remaining amount is intended to be raised via the bond market, other federal grants, or private funding. The purpose of this RFP is to identify and work with the CUDs to implement mechanisms for reducing financing costs for the remaining 40-50%.
For more information, including scope of services and schedule, please see the RFP Document. Respondent selected for this work must be able to begin work within 30 days upon awarding of the contract and to prepare for meeting the timeline established in the RFP for the completion of work. Bids will be accepted via email submission to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Proposals are due by 4:30 p.m., Monday, June 6th, 2022.
