2024 Telecommunications Plan

The Vermont Department of Public Service is working with an outside consultant to develop and write a Telecommunications Plan that meets new requirements set forth by Act 79 (2019), an act relating to broadband deployment throughout Vermont, and 30 V.S.A. § 202d, as amended by Act 137 (2020), an act relating to COVID-19 funding and assistance for broadband connectivity, housing, and economic relief.

Comments on the Public Comments Draft Plan will be accepted through March 29'th 2024 and may be submitted through the following link survey link. The department is also accepting comments via email at PSD.Telecom@vermont.gov

Public Hearings on the Public Comments Draft Plan

The Vermont Department of Public Service will host three public input sessions for the Public Comment Draft of the 10-year telecom plan. The sessions are hybrid, both in person in the Giga conference room at 112 State Street, 3'rd floor, Montpelier, VT and via Microsoft Teams. The meeting link and call in information is below.
