Advocate Training about Lifeline 5-6-20

01 May 2020

The Lifeline program can lower the monthly cost of internet or phone service.  Training is available on May 6th for advocates and case workers to learn more about how to help eligible households apply and keep this benefit. You can register at the GoToWebinar training link.

The FCC has temporarily adjusted the guidelines for acceptable documentation for meeting the Lifeline income-based eligibility standards to help people who are recently unemployed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. For more information, please see the Department’s Lifeline webpage or call the Consumer Affairs and Public Information Division at 800-622-4496.
