Digital Equity Act = $2.75 billion to establish three grant programs to ensure all people have the skills, technology, and capacity needed to reap the full benefits of our digital economy.
Program priorities:
- households earning at or below 150% of the poverty line
- veterans
- aging people
- incarcerated people
- people with a language barrier
- people with disabilities
- members of racial or ethnic minority groups
- people who live in rural areas
