The Department of Public Service (Department) seeks a regulatory accounting and ratemaking expert witness to review and make recommendations on a tariff and rate adjustment proposal that the City of Burlington Electric Department (BED) filed with the Public Utility Commission (Commission) on June 17, 2021.
The work primarily involves providing expert witness services and conducting an independent assessment of BED’s proposed cost of service under applicable Vermont ratemaking standards. BED’s filing has been docketed by the Commission as Case No. 21-2186-TF. The tariff filing and related materials are publicly accessible through the Commission’s ePUC filing system (using the Search by Case Number function). BED’s filing materials can also be provided by the Department to prospective bidders upon request.
