Digital Equity Act

Digital Equity Act = $2.75 billion to establish three grant programs to ensure all people have the skills, technology, and capacity needed to reap the full benefits of our digital economy. 

Program priorities:

  • households earning at or below 150% of the poverty line
  • veterans
  • aging people
  • incarcerated people
  • people with a language barrier
  • people with disabilities
  • members of racial or ethnic minority groups
  • people who live in rural areas
