The Department has issued the final report, pursuant to Act 53 of 2017 (relating to the Public Utility Commission, energy and telecommunications) on the issue of deploying energy storage on the Vermont electric transmission and distribution system. The Final Act 53 Energy Storage Report was submitted to the House Committee on Energy and Technology and the Senate Committees on Finance and on Natural Resources and Energy on November 15, 2017.
