This Request for Proposal (RFP) is seeking a consultant to develop and write a Telecommunications Plan that meets new requirements set forth by Act 79 (2019), an act relating to broadband deployment throughout Vermont, and 30 V.S.A. § 202d. The last Telecom Plan was adopted on June 20, 2021. The Department expects the 2024 Plan to update these strategies and integrate the requirements specified in Act No. 79 and Act No. 71 (2021), an act related to accelerated community broadband deployment, and provide an analysis of the success of the state’s recent broadband and telecommunications efforts.
