PSD Announces Upcoming Listening Sessions To Gather Input on The Siting of Telecommunications Facilities in VT

The Public Service Department (PSD) is holding three in-person listening session to gather public input for a legislative report on the siting of telecommunications facilities under 30 V.S.A. § 248a. The report shall address how to make the process easier to participate in for municipalities and individuals, how to encourage municipal participation, and recommend any necessary updates to 30 V.S.A. § 248. During this session, PSD will provide a brief overview of the 30 V.S.A. § 248a process, along with time set aside for participants to share their comments. By holding these sessions, PSD hopes to gain insight on how to increase accessibility for the public and the municipalities during the siting of telecommunications facilities under 30 V.S.A. § 248a.
