Listening sessions for Vermont's 248a Process

The Department of Public Service is holding public listening sessions to discuss the 248a process.

The 248a process permits the construction of certain types of telecommunications infrastructure, including but not limited to cell phone towers and antennas. These meetings are meant to primarily discuss cell phone towers and antenna siting. The 248a process is designed to ensure that these projects are in the public good and that they are responsibly sited and constructed.

We believe that it is important to gain input from the public on these projects. We think public participation will help improve the quality of these projects and will make them more successful.

The Public Service Department plans on holding in person sessions across Vermont.
