Requests for Proposals

The purpose of this RFP is to identify alternative and preferred funding solutions for the Communications Union Districts. The VCBB estimates that via the funding provided by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and the Bipartisan Infrastructure and Jobs Act, the VCBB will be able to provide most CUDs with 50-60% of the required infrastructure funding through grants. The remaining amount is intended to be raised via bond market, other federal grants, or private funding. The purpose of this RFP is to identify and work with the CUDs to implement mechanisms for reducing financing costs for the remaining 40-50%. Deadline June 6, 2020.
