The Panelists appointed to VT NDCAP as of March 21, 2023 are identified in this document. Seventeen of VT NDCAP's 19 positions are currently filled. The two vacancies consist of the two optional Panel appointees representing the New Hampshire and Massachusetts towns, respectively, that were previously part of Vermont Yankee's 10-mile radius Emergency Planning Zone.

This document provides a brief synopsis of the history and current status of Federal High Level Nuclear Waste (Spent Nuclear Fuel) Policies, which will be used as a starting point for discussions at the March 6, 2023 VT-NDCAP Federal Nuclear Waste Policy Committee meeting. This synopsis was developed by the Committee members and VT-NDCAP support staff.
