On March 15th, 2023 the Public Service Department (“Department”) hosted a webinar covering the topic of Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) and their Markets. During the question-and-answer period, the Department and the webinar speaker, Jason Gifford from Sustainable Energy Advantage, received many more questions than could be answered live. Given the interest in this topic, the Department has compiled answers to the outstanding questions, which are included in this document.
