PSD Announces 06-17-2024 Meeting of The VT NDCAP Federal Nuclear Waste Policy Committee

A hybrid format will be used for this meeting.  In accordance with Vermont Open Meeting Law, the following physical location will be available for those wishing to attend this meeting in-person:

Limited parking is available in the lot next to the Governor Hunt House along Vermont Yankee Drive.  Additional parking is available across the street in front of Vernon Elementary School.

Listening Session for § 248a Telecom Facilities Siting Process

The Public Service Department (PSD) is holding an online listening session to gather public input for a legislative report on the siting of telecommunications facilities under 30 V.S.A. § 248a.

During this session, PSD will provide a brief overview of the 30 V.S.A. § 248a process, along with time set aside for participants to share their comments. By holding these sessions, PSD hopes to gain insight on how to increase accessibility for the public and the municipalities during the siting of telecommunications facilities under 30 V.S.A. § 248a. Everyone is welcome to this free event.
