This Request for Information (RFI) is issued by the Vermont Department of Public Service (“PSD”) to gather input and obtain information and cost estimates in proceeding with proposals to determine the costs of completing a statewide propagation coverage analysis.
The Vermont legislature directed the PSD to prepare a report with findings and recommendations related to, among other items, “the costs of completing a statewide propagation coverage analysis and whether such an analysis is needed to inform State policy, planning, and investment with respect to wireless service in Vermont”. See H.13 from 2018, Sec E.233.2(e), adopted 6/19/18. The legislature seeks this information in the context of consideration of the future of the state-funded microcell network.
