The Panelists appointed to VT NDCAP as of December 11, 2023 are identified in this document. Fifteen of VT NDCAP's 19 positions are currently filled. The four vacancies consist of one citizen-appointee by the Vermont Governor's Office, one citizen-appointee by the Vermont Senate President Pro Tempore's Office and the two optional Panel appointees representing the New Hampshire and Massachusetts towns, respectively, that were previously part of Vermont Yankee's 10-mile radius Emergency Planning Zone. (These last two positions are appointed by the New Hampshire and Massachusetts Governor's Offices, respectively.)

Potential VT-NDCAP Budget Allocations for FY2024 Rev 1

Description

This file contains proposed VT NDCAP budget allocations for FY2024 that were first discussed at the Panel's September 18, 2023 meeting. The Rev. 1 version of this document includes additional clarifying notes on these budget items. Budget allocations for FY2022 are included for comparison purposes (no similar numbers available for FY2023). Requested modifications to FY2024 numbers added on December 11 as Rev. 2. All previous numbers retained for comparison purposes.

2023 Annual Report Draft

Description
This file contains the First Draft of the 2023 VT NDCAP Annual Report that will be discussed at the December 4, 2023 meeting of VT NDCAP's Federal Nuclear Waste Policy Committee. Sections of this report highlighted in yellow will require updating once December meeting summaries and End of Year information become available.

December 7: An updated draft of this report (addressing comments from the December 4 FNWP Committee meeting) and several comments received following this meeting was uploaded here on December 7.

USDOE Summary of Storage Only Cannisters and Casks at Nuclear Power Plants

Description
The attached table provides US Department of Energy’s response to a public question asked during the September 25, 2023 meeting of the Vermont Nuclear Decommissioning Citizens Advisory Panel’s Federal Nuclear Waste Policy Committee. The table summarizes the design type and quantity of the "storage only" spent nuclear fuel cannisters and cask currently in use throughout the contiguous United States. This data was compiled from a Pacific Northwest National Laboratory Report identified in the table.
